If you are travelling as a group of 4, there is an option to book both room The space The room is custom designed with hardwood furnishings, comfortable king size bed, premium linens and a spacious en suite bathroom and amenities. There is a veranda to relax outside, read a book or just wander around the gardens, lagoon and rural surroundings. Your private view consists of the "tropical jungle" and lovely lagoon. The entire property consists of 2 private rooms, 1 kitchen , a dining area in an open space, a deck, a separate house with 2 rooms and a private kitchen. When you book this listing you will access to one private room with attached bathroom, the shared kitchen and dining area near the deck. Guest access You have your own terrace space and the entire garden. A beautiful deck and dining area facing the magical lagoon with mangroves. You can access a fully equipped kitchen which is a separate space of the property. We have a security who provides safety and help. A wonderful housekeeper which can provide a lovely breakfast and delicious Sri Lankan meals on request. The cleaning of your bedroom and changing of linen is free of charge every 4 days. If you wish to have extra housekeeping the price is 1,500lkr for 3 hours. During your stay Me and my family can always help you in renting tuk tuks or hire scooter, plan tours and also airport transfers. We love connecting with guests and whenever will be possible either me or my daughter will visit the property. We are available over the phone or on Airbnb at all time Other things to note Our property is in a Protected Natural Reserve and a Birds Sanctuary away from all the noises. It’s a lodging for those who wish to visit Hikkaduwa but not in the chaos of the beach yet in a quiet and serene accommodation. Hikkaduwa Turtles Beach is about 5km distant Surfing area is about 4km distant Galle Fort is about 17km distant To reach the closest local market it will take about 5minutes ride or 15minute walk. All the major tourists spots, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and attractions are about 10 to 15 minutes ride. We recommend to hire a scooter, bicycles or arrange a tuk tuk. We will provide you with a list of tuk tuk drivers who are working with us since many years and also some food delivery service. We do also offer lunch or dinner on request! The entire area it’s a traditional rural area of Hikkaduwa with cinnamon plantations, hidden temples, coir making farms, so feel free to explore the heart of Sri Lanka ! Mangrovia Lagoon Resort is surrounded by nature, so it’s normal in time to time to spot funny geckos, water monitors, birds of any kinds including peacocks. We recommend to seat on the deck during sunset to enjoy the local fishermen collecting their nets.
