Cozy and nice entire guest apartment located on the lake. Enjoy beautiful view from deck and have access to fishing, swimming, paddleboard, kayaks and canoe. The space The guest apartment includes a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area with views of the lake. It is one of two apartments located on the second floor so there are stairs to go up from the shared main entrance by the driveway. At the top of the stairs the guest apartment is the entrance on the right. Guest access The deck is accessible from both apartments but has two separate seating areas. This is a great spot for your morning coffee, grill out or watching amazing sunsets. The laundry room to the right when you come in at the main entrance is available for you as well if needed. To get to the water and additional areas, you will walk around the main house on the pathway to the left. Here you will pass by a smaller deck area with seating outside another entrance to Nana’s mother-in-law suite. She is very friendly and will be able to help with any questions you might have. Coming around the corner, you will have another deck area with a table and chairs and then to the back patio with a cushioned shaded seating area (until about 3pm). In the late afternoon/eve you might prefer to eat or hang out at the docks where there’s also seating with an umbrella and usually a little breeze from the water. And finally the fireplace area is a great spot for late nights where you are welcome to build a fire and enjoy the sunset. There are usually plenty of sticks there - compliments of our black lab Midi (Midnight) who is always on guard to rescue any driftwood floating by. Speaking of dogs since they also live here and are both outside and inside the main house. Although they normally wander freely around the property, we will be happy to keep them contained inside if you prefer so you can enjoy some peace and quiet outside. Just let us know when you plan to be outside as well as arrival times. Midi (black) and Rollo (white) usually understand a firm “no” when they might approach with a tennis ball and unless you just love dogs and have the time to spare, we would suggest that you don’t take the bait (touch the ball). Norm is the other white dog but with a curly tail. He might appear grumpy since he gets jealous of the other dogs but really just loves affection. To sum it up, all outside areas are available for you to enjoy but might be shared with us and/or other guests. There are plenty of seating areas though so different groups can enjoy the same atmosphere yet not being close enough to have to engage.
