Birch Cabin located at North Frontenac Lodge is a rustic, true Canadiana experience- the cabin is a 1940’s Fishing Lodge studio cabin. The vaulted log ceiling and exposed log walls create the coziest of spaces. This cozy cabin has all of the necessities for an escape from everyday life. If you’re looking for a romantic or family getaway - then Birch Cabin can offer you a truly unique adventure on one of the the most pristine and undeveloped lakes in eastern Ontario- a total gem! The space Birch Cabin will offer you all of the elements required for a unique Canadian outdoor adventure. The cabins provide the necessities of comfort, making it simple and easy to get outdoors and take in the beauty around you. Relax on your private deck and stare up at the stars or have a fire in your fireplace. There is also a BBQ on the deck. The cabin has a queen bed, a single top bunk, and a single sleeper sofa. There are two water areas, the front bay and back bay available to use. The front bay is just steps away from the cabin and boasts a sandy beach and gradual incline which is perfect for little people and those who prefer to ease into the water. The back dock drops off quickly and is the ideal setting for those who want to swim the day away. Linens are available for $30 per bed, if you prefer to not bring your own. There is a toilet and sink in the bathroom in Birch Cabin. Shower facilities are available at the ‘Shower House’ which is a shared with two other cabins on the property. Explore Mosque Lake- there’s so much to see and learn. Feel free to use the canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards or pedal boat to explore - go fishing, adventure to an island for a picnic or to just take in the incredible undeveloped areas of this magnificent gift of nature. We can provide you direction on where to go to have your desired experience. The watercraft are available for all guests and are included with your stay. Guest access North Frontenac Lodge is just under 3 acres and is a shared space with 4 other cabins. The property included multiple fire pits (as well as private deck fireplaces on each cabin deck), a communal screened gazebo for rainy or 'buggy' days, a front sandy bay and a back dock. There is a shared shower house for 3 of the cabins. The waterfront, wood burning hot tub, water amenities (kayaks, canoes, pedal boat, SUPs, row boat) are shared with 5 cabins in the summer. There is a beautiful sense of community at North Frontenac Lodge, and many times our guests leave as friends. We also have many guests that come and rent the lodge cabins for their own family/friend getaways.
