"Petralia a Ceramarrotta" Holiday Home

Between Taormina and Castelmola, in a very small rural village, Petralia, is the holiday home "Petralia a Ceramarrotta" My accommodation is habitable despite its construction dating back to the early 1900s, close to public transport, the city center, the sea, and nightlife. You'll love my place because of its views, location, people, and atmosphere. My place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with children). The space My great-grandparents' house has a special atmosphere that will transport you to a time in the past, giving you a glimpse of what peasant life was like from the early 1900s to the 1960s. It could be called a "house museum of peasant life," as I jokingly call it. The terrace in front of the house is a farmyard where the ears of wheat were brought and with the laborious work of men and animals the wheat was made to come out of the ears. Until the 1960s, all the countryside in our area was cultivated, and was a source of income for the needs of daily life. Today, this is no longer the case because people prefer to study instead of dedicating their lives to the land, and many things have been lost because they are no longer known how to do them. The house is not very elegant, rather rustic, in fact I wanted to restore the existing one rather than redo it. It is very nice, in my opinion, to spend a few days on vacation to disconnect from the usual daily life with worries and confusion. You will certainly have a physical and mental benefit by breathing good clean air and enjoying the wonderful breathtaking views. Guest access The house is on two floors. The ground floor (early 1900s) was the home of my great-grandparents while the first floor (1940s) was the home of my grandparents. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, a not very large kitchen and a bathroom. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom, a bedroom with a small bed, a small bedroom with a table and a single sofa bed, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. Other things to note Guests can use my parking space, which is next to the house, if they have a small car, since the access road is a bit narrow; otherwise, they can park on the street.
