Original 1930's City Cottage

House is 1930's cottage, originally built to house workers who came to town to work at the railways or the port. Simple in it's design, updated amenities to ensure comfort. Close to family-friendly activities, public transport, nightlife, city centre. Walking distance to Eastern beach, botantical gardens, the waterfront, hospital and Geelong CBD. Have your own space in a quiet street in Geelong. Its an old house, no gadgets or wifi. 3 nights max. Enjoy the simple life! The space The basics are there, everything works! Quiet, small house. Gates on front fence and court yard fenced off. House is in a quiet street. Everything is there so you don't need to bring anything. You are welcome to bring your own pillows, towels etc if you prefer your own. Its about 100 years old so a bit of Geelong history!! It is unrenovated but is a great place to stay as has a cosy, cottage feel. If you come from the fancy side of life, it may not meet your standards. It is very affordable, price is reflective of the age of the house. It wont suit everyone and if u arent sure, dont book because its cheap and then give bad feedback. The feedback is good as the right people stay. They need somewhere to sleep as they are going out and heading home the next day. Guest access On street parking. It's a cul de sac. There are houses all around but it's quiet. The driveway next to the house is not mine. There are 2 car parking spaces in front of the house as well as 3 more spaces in the street. There will be a parking pass available, if needed. Arriving at 3pm and leaving the next day before 11am, meets the parking conditions of the 2 hour limit so its not necessary to use the pass but its there. Other things to note Close to Eastern Beach. Can walk down to Lime burners point, the water front restaurants, eastern gardens, ride the ferris wheel, take a helicopter ride for a tour of the bay. Plenty of things to do in Geelong as well as travel to the coast, the wineries, cafes or visit your family or friends. Westfield is a 600m walk. Coles closes at 7pm.
