You can pick those lovely plants for your cooking etc., so please give them back what they need from time to time. The water of the well is of course drinkable - the faint taint comes from the boggy ground of the paeninsula. But if you don't like it, use it only for cooking and buy some mineral water. You have to bring back those bottles or other recycling-garbage back by yourself, there is a place at the supermarket in Kihelkonna. Other things to note In spring, see the lilacs bloom everywhere around in abundance. In early summer, there are flocks of geese to watch migrating to Finland and, of course, the white nights. In July and August, if you care to swim, the sea is within walking distance, approx. 10 minutes, where you find a beautiful, empty stretch of half sandy, half pebble beach. The sea at this spot is usually shallow and quiet, and the beach is kept clean and offers shady spots.
