Historic downtown cottage

Cute downtown cottage. Very private with full kitchen, laundry, bath. Please read disclosures. The space Please read completely. Queen bed. Very private and lost in the hustle of the city. The main home is a historic Colonial built in 1890 with tons of local history and along with the neighborhood is on the National Historic Register. Located on a street with other historic homes which have been converted into offices, the neighborhood is fairly quite to be in the middle of downtown. The property is within walking distance of downtown Main Street restaurants, shopping, and events. The home is located a few blocks from the Bancorpsouth Arena and Fairpark. Guest have access to the pool when open. This property is not for pool parties, cookouts etc. Only the guest listed on the original booking are allowed on the property unless prior written consent is given by the owner. Disclosures: In an effort to be totally Honest about the property I have made a few disclosures based on previous guest stays. I do make every effort to continue the improvement of this property as finances allow. This list will change as the property changes. This is a wonderful property, however I want to be as transparent as possible before you book. Please note the following items: -Pool is normally open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. -unfortunately this property is not currently handicap friendly. The walkway from parking area to the guest house is uneven, and there are several steps at the guest house porch. -There is internet with Netflix access but not local cable. -the person booking the property must be present for the stay. -there is not cable TV, only WiFi with access to Netflix. This is stated several times. -the shower is small and the tile in the bathroom has brown streaks in it. I promise it is not dirt, it’s the way the tile is made. Sorry, I wasn’t the one who picked it out. -you are renting the guest house, not the whole property, access to the main house and garage on the property are not allowed -there is no central HVAC. We have window units and space heaters which work very well. -winter months, due to the number of trees and vast size of the property , leaves will be on the ground until Spring. We do our best to keep the main walkways clear, but patios and yard are an impossible task. Leaves are cleaned up during spring. -the landscaping in the back is beautiful during the spring and summer, but not so much in the fall and winter as most of it dies back. -All liens are white so they can be bleached. Everything is bleached between guest, if you have an allergy To bleach please alert me ahead of your stay and I will do my best to accommodate. Guest access Complete access to the pool house and pool when open. -Guest are asked not to attempt access to the main home or garage on the property.
