Modernism in the woods

The house is set on a height in a quiet wooded area on the island of Ekerö in lake Mälaren on the outskirts of Stockholm. Nestled between mossy rock outcroppings, patches of blueberries and lingons, and distant vistas over treetops, the stage is set for your vacation near the Swedish capitol. The space There is an outdoor gas grill available for use. A trampoline and swing is available and used at own risk. In addition to the washer and tumble dryer, there is also a drying cupboard available. WiFi is 500 Mbit No live television is available but streaming services offered are Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, Viaplay and Cmore. A steam sauna is located in the master bathroom. 2 additional double (140cm width) air mattresses and bedding are available. That makes a total sleeping capacity of 10 people. Heated floors throughout. Wine refrigerator. iPad available for use. Built-in sound system in living room, master suite and at outdoor deck with Spotify and Apple service via iPad. Shade sail over outdoor seating (not pictured). Lighting system on iPad that is extremely user friendly, or just use wall switches. Your choice. There is a portable fire pit that can be used out on one of the rock outcroppings. Stay clear of trees and the deck for obvious reasons. Guest access The entire house is at your disposal, however the garage is locked. The garage may be made available for storage of kayaks, bikes, etc. by arrangement only. Other things to note If you choose to use the fireplace, please note that the chimney and combustion air vents need to be opened. Using the kitchen exhaust fan simultaneously while using the fireplace is ok, provided that the fan is not on full power. This limitation can be ignored if any doors are open while the fan is on maximum power.
