Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways. The space Fig Tree Cottage provides self contained accommodation with private entrance and comprises of lounge, large kitchen diner toaster, kettle and fridge, double bedroom with en-suite wet room. Ideally suits a couple, however the lounge has double sofabed which is suitable for 2 small children. The lounge has bi-folding doors which leads onto a pretty, courtyard for guests to use. The courtyard is situated near to the main house so you will see myself and my family passing by.
