Beautiful two rooms apartment located in the historic area of the city. All new, recently renovated. The apartment is situated at the 5th floor and offers a nice view towards the charming cobbled streets of Bucharest’s Old Town. The ideal location for either a short or a long stay; an affordable alternative to the regular Bucharest’s hotels. Don’t worry about the 5th floor, the building has an elevator. The space FACT: On average, people spend at least 12 hours/day in their hotel room, when in holiday. That’s half of the time! You’d better go for a nice room. Like ours for instance - designer apartment, eclectic and cozy. Big windows. Lots of light. But what makes the place truly unique is a couple of traditional Romanian pieces of furniture, old one-of-a-kind pieces, crafted and painted manually, coming from different regions of the country. The antique Saxon dowry chest, polychrome, manually painted, comes from the village of Cobor (Kuevern in Saxon dialect) in Transylvania, while the massive wooden door, which decorates the living room wall, comes from an old lordly house in the North of Bucovina, near by Sucevita, in Marginea village, famous for its black archaic ceramic. The old leather chair, the living room table, which is a reconverted traditional rustic bench and the antique window shutters, which were turned into the doors of the cabinet, come also from different Saxon villages in Transylvania. The place has an open kitchen with bar, for romantic evenings in two, three, maximum four. Ideally, the apartment can host 2 people, but can accommodate 3-4 too, as the living room sofa is extendable. The cozy atmosphere given by the homey vintage design makes the place the perfect stay for an electric city break, a business trip or a romantic weekend in Little Paris, as Bucharest was once called. - Amenities - Vintage design - contemporary comfort, the apartment offers all the luxuries of a modern home: Free WiFi Air conditioning Central heating TV Iron machine, iron board Hair dryer Towels, bed sheets Soap and toilet paper All beds’ mattresses and pillows are new (2017). The kitchen is equipped with: Fridge Cooktop Microwave Bread toaster Sandwich toaster Coffee filter (coffee & tea on the house) Espresso coffee machine (Philips Saeco) Washing machine And all the needed kitchenware: cutlery, plates, glasses and pots. NO heavy cooking is allowed though! No greasy cooking, frying and so on. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire space and all its facilities. Therefore, for a smooth check-in, please let us know in advance the time of your arrival and any delay you might have. • All the details, the address and the meeting point, will be provided to you via Airbnb messages, once the booking is complete.
