In a few minutes, kilometers you can reach the naval city of Wilhelmshaven, Horumersiel, Schillig and the beach of Hooksiel. Directly on the wonderful historic old harbor of Hooksiel lies this approx. 40 sqm apartment designed for up to 5 people. The apartment is located directly on the ground floor and is equipped for the disabled. The kitchen area is equipped with a fully equipped built-in kitchen (including dishwasher, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and much more). In the open-plan living area there is a 40-inch LCD TV (approx. 102 cm screen) with Blu-ray player. The separate bedroom is equipped with a box spring bed and bunk bed and another flat-screen TV. In the living area there is a cozy sofa bed. The bathroom, which is also completely newly created, has a walk-in shower. The whole apartment is tiled or lined with laminate. You can park your car in your own parking space by the house. The inviting center of Hooksiel is a few minutes' walk away if you want to eat out or get fresh rolls for breakfast in the morning. The apartment has free Wi-Fi. Door locks and inflexible key handovers are a thing of the past with us. You will receive an access code by phone, email or SMS and can arrive and depart as you wish. Arrival is possible from 3 pm, departure is until 11 am. --- Enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and amenities combined with the old charm of a 220-year-old house. Except for the foundation walls, the house has been gutted for you and we have tried to rebuild a holiday paradise for you. --- The history of the house, built in 1802, ranges from a stagecoach barn, consulate, restaurant industry to the mussel museum and is now intended to enrich your vacation as a holiday home. Through various details, we will try to highlight the extraordinary "old" of the house (old masonry, exposed beams, etc.) and yet everything else is new (water, sewage and electrical lines, completely new bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms and the latest furnishings). All ceilings, walls and floors are newly insulated, erected and laid. Everything is designed at ground level and therefore disabled-friendly (not disabled-accessible). Accommodation costs are in addition to the tourist tax of the municipality, from 0 to 3.80 euros per person per night, depending on age and season.
