A good spot for a couple or solo adventurer: a traditional English shepherd’s hut close to Kommetjie’s beautiful Long Beach, with its great views and excellent surfing waves. The main hut has a kitchenette + queen-size bed, the little hut has a loo + shower. It’s beautiful and cosy, with views into milkwood treetops; there's a hammock and a table and chairs under the trees. You can always hear the sea, it’s less than a minute’s walk away. The space A great example of the trending tiny home movement that sees small spaces being designed carefully and used economically. The main hut is just eight square metres but super comfortable, with its queen-size bed and cotton percale linen, its “dinner for two” Oregon pine table (doubling as a laptop space), and comfortable wooden bar stools. The kitchen has a quick-to-heat induction stove, a kettle, toaster and fridge. Outside there’s lots of space under the old grove of milkwood trees and a few steps away is the sea. You can see the flash of the Kommetjie lighthouse at night and hear the waves crashing.
