This is our family home. We like our guests to have a comfortable stay while visiting Queenstown and have everything you need. We do not rent very often and will be out of town, this is why our home is available. During your stay, you will have use of all the rooms shown in the photos. We are located close to town. Only a 4 minute drive or take the bus departing every 20 minutes from the nearby bus stop, or walk to enjoy beautiful Queenstown and the lake. Thank you for choosing our place. The space Our place is a close 2km to the centre of Queenstown (4-5 minute drive). Breath-taking lake & mountain views, overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the famous Remarkables mountain range. Also in view across the lake is the Kelvin Heights Golf Course, which is a 20 minute drive), and Queenstown Hill. The home is clean, smoke free and pet free. Has comfortable beds, and space to relax and unwind. A newly installed kitchen with modern appliances, plus blenders to make smoothies, a sandwich press to make toasted sandwiches, among other things. The bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and soap supplied, and hairdryers for your convenience. Free Unlimited Wifi is included. The Samsung TV in the Main Living Room has Netflix & YouTube for your entertainment. The Exercise/Fitness Room has a treadmill, spin bike, free weights, yoga mat, foam rollers, a resistance strength wheel, and a new infrared sauna, with Kenwood Bluetooth speakers to play your music or podcasts. The Exercise Room also has a DVD player and a library of DVD’s to enjoy while you work out, or sauna. You will have use of the desk in the Office/Formal Lounge if you need a quiet space to work. Private Outside Deck: with spectacular Queenstown views, comfortable seating, a Webber BBQ, and an exterior dining table. *Only a 3 minute walk to the bus stop, which takes you to downtown shops & restaurants, the Queenstown Airport. Five Mile Shopping Centre in Frankton and to the historic gold mining town of Arrowtown, which has beautiful walks, restaurants, shops and Dorothy Brown’s movie cinema. Search the internet for “Orbus Queenstown” for details, pick up and drop off in Fernhill, near Greenstone Place (road). Buses usually Depart every 15 minutes on the hour from Fernhill. Or you can enjoy a pleasant walk to town through the Fernhill walk track with forestry views and the “One Mile Stream” 50 feet below the bridge, along the way. Only a 4 minute walk from our home to the neighbourhood convenience store: called “Eight to Late” located at 155 Fernhill Road, Plus next door to the store is the highly rated “Churr Fish & Chip’s” takeaway restaurant, with neighbouring local favourite restaurant called “Lokal”. (Formerly known as Vknow) With superb food & wine, cocktails and various beers on tap. Offering something for everyone, including steak, chicken, fish, vegetarian, pizza & pasta dishes. Takeaway menu also available. Brunch on weekends from 11pm. Famous Wednesday Quiz Night. Live music most Saturday evenings. A true highlight in the neighbourhood. Another close dining option is across the road from the corner shops with a full bar and restaurant called “ Nest” with outstanding views of the lake and the Remarkable’s mountains.
