Boho home with resort-like pool ideal for 1-2 families or professionals. 5 bedrooms including TWO primary en-suites, fenced in yard, trampoline, pizza oven, peloton, Tesla charger. Clean, comfortable and private, in family-friendly and highly sought out area of South Charlotte. 20 mins to city, 5 mins to hwy, 3 mins to shops/food. Lake Norman, Lake Wylie, NASCAR, White Water Center, all close by. Home is located between the Ballantyne and Mathews areas. *NO HOUSE PARTIES* The space Welcome! We are a family of 4 who open up our home to others when we are traveling elsewhere. If we aren’t home, someone else should be enjoying it! Resort style in-ground pool is open late April to early October. * Low key gatherings ARE permitted if discussed with the host beforehand. Quiet hours are strictly 9pm until 8am* NO HOUSE PARTIES! Our home is super cozy, has a Scandinavian-Boho vibe, clean, modern, and safe. The best part is that it has TWO primary en-suites, many work-from-home stations, and common areas suitable for a soccer team! Please note: before and after each guest, our home is professionally deep cleaned and sanitized. With advance request, each 10 day reservation includes 1 visit from a trusted house keeper for a light cleaning THE BEDROOMS: Main Floor…. •Primary BEDROOM #1: a queen ensuite, is located on the main floor just off the great room. Incredibly private and perfect for the in-laws. Upstairs (front staircase)…. •Primary BEDROOM #2: a king ensuite, is located upstairs adjacent to the “kid’s”rooms. Perfect for those who want to stay close to the littles but have their privacy too. •Kid room #1: dim and cool, with a black chalkboard wall. Full bed •Kid room #2: sunny, lots of pink. Has 2 twin beds. In addition to the 4 bedrooms listed above, there are another TWO areas for private sleeping. The first is a large bedroom upstairs, away from the other upstairs bedrooms. Perfect for a young couple or someone looking to get some work done in their bedroom. The second is a large and sunny above ground basement. We use it as a playroom but it hosts a large sectional with a full sized pullout to sleep on. The great room also has a ‘day’ bed, suitable for 2 people to sleep or to just lounge on while reading a book. Huge common areas and a nice sized kitchen island, a great room with floor to ceiling windows and the most comfortable couch known to man (seriously). Many work spaces throughout the home. 1 dedicated office, 2 bedrooms with a desk, and a half dozen areas to dock up undisturbed. Some hypoallergenic dogs welcome- must be trained and family-friendly dogs. Please discuss with us prior. OUTSIDE: Huge heated* pool with built in bar stools and large sun shelf. OONI pizza oven, SOLO fire pit. Pool floats, toys, towels, dining tables/chairs. Fenced in backyard, swing set, 15ft trampoline, outdoor toys. *if you would like the pool heated, there will be an additional charge for each day you’d like the heat turned on. Please discuss with me in advance. SO WE’RE ON THE SAME PAGE: If discussed with host prior, low key gatherings are allowed but please be mindful of noise and activity level. This is a highly sought after residential area of South Charlotte boasting tons of kids, parks, highly rated schools, amenities and wonderfully caring neighbors. We are committed to our lovely neighborhood and ask that you treat it as if it were your own. Slow and safe driving only, polite interactions with neighbors, keeping outside of home tidy at all times, and simply using overall care and grace. In order to keep our home free of many allergens and dirt, we do not wear shoes in the house or eat outside of the kitchen. We kindly ask that you do the same. At the same time we understand what it’s like to have kids running around- put it this way- having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner? Keep it in the kitchen. Kids having water and animal crackers while watching a show? Not a big deal if they’re on the couch :) We have a doorbell camera to monitor deliveries and people entering/exiting the house. We have a camera to monitor the pool, as well. There are no cameras inside the house. We have never felt the need to check the door/pool cameras either but they are there for everyone’s safety. ODDS & ENDS: You can find all the typical amenities of home here: full kitchen, kuerig, blender, extra linens, pillows, soap/TP/shampoo, a few rolls of paper towels to get you started etc. Toys, games, and crafts galore, particularly for kids ages 5-12. Allergen friendly and very cleanly: air purifiers in main living areas and some bedrooms, dust mite protection on all linens, Toto washlets (bidets), steam cycle on washing machine. DISCLAIMERS: We reserve a few small areas of our home (a storage closet, a few drawers, and the garage) to house our personal belongings. For visits under 2 weeks we ask that guests refrain from parking in our garage and limit cars in the driveway to no more than 3, regularly. Of course it’s no issue to have visiting company with additional cars. We welcome infants and toddlers but aside from a few gates on the main floor, our home is not baby or toddler proof. Please use constant supervision inside and outside, especially around the pool, on the trampoline, yoga trapeze, peloton and playground etc. We are available via text 24/7 to manage any major or minor issue. We ask that you keep in mind that this is our everyday home and there will be a few imperfections that may not be seen in a Marriott or in a professional Airbnb host. Nothing that should impact your trip but normal house stuff- a lightbulb is out, something needs to be caulked, a drawer doesn’t close as well as it should etc. We try to leave everything in perfect condition but there are always projects to be done and little things we may miss.
