The Fyhn fjordview cottage

Hello, my name is Per. 70 km east of Tromsoe I have a cottage in the Lyngen Alps area. An old part is from 1912-1914 with an extension from 2012-2013. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a good bathroom, a fairly big living room, a fireplace and a nice view from the veranda towards the Lyngenfjord. It`s perfect for maximum 6 adults or a family with older children. The cottage is situated 2.2 km north of the community centre Lyngseidet towards the village of Koppangen. The space You can calm down completely as the house is almost alone, on a plot with an unobstructed view of the fjord and the mountains. You can see boats on the fjord going fishing or just crossing it. A ferry cross the Lyngenfjord every day. In the spring you can hear the sound of the little nearby creek and see the water running down towards the fjord. In the summer you can see the midnightsun, go bathing in the fjord or in a lake while you walk in the mountains. It`s a vast range of possibilities for all kinds of activities whether it`s going on your own or on guided tours. You can rent a boat to go fishing on the fjord, go kayaking, make tours by mountainbikes (there are 2 great trails 200 m from the cottage) or visit the northernmost distillery in the world! In the winter you may see the northern lights above the fjord and the alps staying at the veranda without leaving the cottage. Also you may climb in frozen waterfalls, go crosscountryskiing or walk to one of the highest mountains in the area and let the skis do the work for you all the way down to the fjord. Available also dog-sledding or snowmobilesafari. Whatever you want to do you can book everything at Lyngseidet. Owners with service animals are of course most heartly welcome to stay at my cottage. Even though I after one "bad" experience with dogs in the cottage doesn`t allow other animals, you may ask me if I allow your animal to accompanying you. I might even say yes, because I love cats and dogs. Even though you can just be at the cottage on your own, you have several possibilities to go shopping at the 2 supermarkets at Lyngseidet only 2.2 km away, to go to the local wineshop or visit one of the two pubs. There are currently not many cafes on or in the immediate vicinity of Lyngseidet, only one fastfood place. There is a doctor`s office, an emergency room, but also a pharmacy at Lyngseidet. Other things to note There are only 6 regular single beds in the cottage. The number of guests is limited due to the single bathroom.
