Our home is located one hour from Paris and Deauville and about 20 kilometres from Rouen in a very quiet little village (). We are only a few minutes away from the many businesses in Val de Reuil. Cycling enthusiasts can reach us via the greenway that runs behind the house and park their bikes in our secure storage area. The space Our house dates back to 1850 and has all the charm of the homes of yesteryear, This room has a brand-new queen-size bed and new double-glazed windows for optimum comfort; it is south-facing and therefore bathed in light. The carefully selected furniture in weathered wood tells stories of another era: an antique desk, an oak chest of drawers and armchair from Normandy, and a few antique objects add a touch of charm and discreet elegance. In the early morning, the sun's rays filter through the wooden shutters, In this room, every detail has been designed to extend the link between inside and outside, between nature and tradition, offering a timeless interlude of serenity and softness. You'll be welcomed like a friend, with warmth and conviviality. Our aim is to make your stay as pleasant as possible, in a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. Guest access MEALS: Depending on availability and provided that we receive your request at least 48 hours in advance, we offer a traditional Norman dinner with starter, main course, dessert, cider and coffee or herbal tea for €25 per person (we can adapt to vegetarian diets or specific food intolerances). In addition to their room, our guests are welcome to enjoy the garden. Finally, we have two bicycles available for your use. During your stay We love meeting new people and it would be a pleasure to talk with you in french or in english in you come from an other country. We can give some advice to you about what to visit and to do in our region. Nevertheless if you just want silence and calm, there is no problem and we will respect it of course ! Other things to note Breakfast is offered free of charge and is essentially “home-made”; it's a real moment of sharing and indulgence, prepared with love as in the old days. Served between 7.15 and 10 a.m., in your room or under the pergola when the weather's fine, it smells of childhood memories and quiet mornings. It consists of fresh bread or warm brioche, cereals, butter, jam, yoghurt, fruit salad, fruit juice and coffee, tea or chocolate. Please note, however, that for stays of more than 6 nights, breakfast is not included. Kitchen facilities are not available (except for long stays). For travelers in a hurry or early risers, a smaller self-service breakfast may be available.
