Description
The Crow's Nest Tiny House sits nestled on Old Crow Ranch, a 70-acre working livestock farm, a true example of thriving Maine farmland. You'll be surrounded by fields and pine woods in Durham, Maine. Just outside Freeport and only 30 minutes from Portland, this cozy space makes a calming retreat away from the city - for a night or for a week. Fall asleep listening to the peepers and gazing at the stars, drink your morning coffee while looking out at the cattle grazing in the fields. The space The Crow's Nest Tiny House will be your space. We’ve got many great things happening all the time, check out #OldCrowRanch & #OCRTinyHouse on Insta to follow along. The Crow's Nest has a heat pump for heat and A/C. It has an electric 2 burner stove, a toaster oven, a small fridge/freezer and a large sink. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a tiny house with a shower and a flush toilet. There is a queen bed in the loft and a daybed on the main floor which converts to a double bed (please let us know if you’d like us to set the couch up as a bed for you). All cotton dish rags, towels, sheets, pillows and blankets are provided for you. There are plenty of outlets in the #OCRTinyHouse. The kitchen is outfitted for cooking your meals. There is the option of buying meat, raised right here at Old Crow Ranch, from our farm store when you get here or in advance of your arrival through our online farm store. There will be homemade granola and milk waiting for you, as well as some cooking essentials (coffee, tea, olive oil, salt & pepper, sugar, etc). There is wifi at the farm store but it doesn't quite reach out to The Crow's Nest Tiny House. (No WiFi in the tiny house, you may access it at the farm store if you need it for something, most cell services work here). Guest access A 30 minute farm tour given by Seren or Steve is available if you'd like to see the ranch. Otherwise, make yourself at home in the yard around the tiny house and exploring the woods and pasture right out your front door. Other things to note We do not allow pets.
