Luxury in the Living Room
Description
I'm 15 mins walk to both campuses of the University of Hertfordshire & Hatfield Business Park. There's a large desk to work at & good wifi. Ideal for mature students and business travelers. When not in use as a bed for a 2nd guest, it has the luxury of a comfortable sofa to relax on. Black-out curtains make it ideal for night-shift workers! There is a downstairs toilet & a shared bathroom, shower-room & kitchen. (No under 18s please and I don't accept bookings on behalf of someone else.) The space Built in 1958, my home is on a quiet street yet very close to the town centre. It is spacious and homely with a good size garden. There are other rooms available to rent, so there will very likely be other guests staying; many of whom are regulars, so you'd be very welcome to join 'the family' of guests. Guest access I will send you a video-link about 24 hours before you arrive, that shows you how to find the property and also how to use the digital smart-lock on the entry door at the back of the house. You'll have your individual code to open the door so there are no keys to worry about. With Mon-Sat, 0800 - 1800hrs parking restrictions on the street, you can park on the area in front of my house. All resident guests share the kitchen (just 'Leave No Evidence'!), the main bathroom, downstairs toilet and the externally-accessed shower room. During your stay As I'm resident throughout your stay I am happy to sit and chat with you or leave you alone.... As you wish! Other things to note Many of my guests board with me weekly on a regular basis. They are professionals so are quiet and considerate. We all share the kitchen facilities where there is just 1 rule ; "Leave No Evidence!" There is "Resident Permit Parking only", between 8am and 6pm, every day (including Bank Holidays) except on Sundays. So if you cannot park on my drive for any reason between these hours, I will give you a visitor's parking permit. But please do ask if I forget to mention it when you arrive!
