Large charming holiday home on the edge of the mountain with a lovely view of the Storsjö area. In the house, there are all the amenities that make the accommodation easy and pleasant. In winter, it is a stone's throw to the ski slope and access to cross-country ski trails as well as snowmobile trails in absolute proximity. During the summer season, you can hike directly up the mountain. Bydalsfjällen is 20 minutes' drive away with a wide range of activities. After a day of activities, it's nice to relax in the Jacuzzi on the balcony. The space When you find your way here and come in, you will be greeted by a spacious hall where there is room for clothes, shoes and other things you need to unload. To the left, a large bathroom and straight ahead, a laundry room with drying cabinet. Hall and bathroom have nice underfloor heating. To the right of the hall is the large living room with sofa/TV, fireplace, dining area and kitchen. If you continue through the large living room, there are two separate bedrooms with four beds. From the hall, you can get up to the loft, where there are two more beds, social spaces and a smaller workplace (desk and chair). From here, you can see over Storsjön all the way to Östersund. There is also a movie screen and projector. Guest access You will have the the entire house for yourselves. The parking lot can accommodate two cars with the possibility of charging an electric car. You have access to a storage room on the property where there is normally wood and the possibility to store skis. On the terrace there are chairs and tables. The Jacuzzi may be used if the care instructions are followed and these are clearly described in the accommodation Other things to note Restaurant Fjällgården (five-minute walk), which also has a mini shop, serves good food at reasonable prices. They are open during high season. The cross-country ski trail (electric lighting) starts at the foot of the ski slope. I usually put myself directly on the skis and slide down the slalom slope. You can also take the car to Storgräftån (4 km) where there are children's trails as well as other hiking trails. The hiking trail (also cross-country skiing in winter) starts at the turning point 100 meters from the house where you can go directly up the mountain. The first stop can be a coffee/barbecue area at a smaller waterfall with a lovely view. It is then excellent to get further to wind protection on the mountain or a longer trip to Höglekardalen/Bydalen. The latter is a full-day excursion, but then you should arrange for a car trip back.
