Historic 200yr old building, originally a basketmakers workhouse, renovated into a self contained space in a small hamlet in the stunning W.Sussex countryside. Only 11 miles from Brighton, within easy driving distance to Shoreham & Horsham, pretty villages like Hurstpierpoint & Ditching & incredible vineyards. At the south of village, we are a 5 min walk into the village up the small hill. With easy access to the South Downs and the Downslink, great for those who love the biking & hiking. The space What we offer is a glimpse into the beautiful Sussex countryside. We have taken great pride in this renovation to make sure that we offer old world charm with new world amenities. Simply put, we'd want to live there ourselves. From beautiful parquet flooring, to woven wool carpets, modern lighting, walk in shower and with heating and hot water on tap... we think you'll love all the small touches that make this a wonderful stay. Guest access We provide a home away from home experience. You will have off road parking for one car, private entrance, a fully equipped kitchenette, internet access, gas central heating, kingsize bed and even Netflix. We are happy to store bikes and boots from your muddy adventures and we are happy to provide extra items based on your needs. EV charger available at an additional fee. Other things to note The property is situated on an A road which provides great access around the area but can be both busy & noisy during periods of the day, but quiet at night. The cottage is on the southern outskirts of the village, approximately 0.5 mile walk up a hill along a clear path. Please note that linen & towel changes will be provided every two weeks for longer stays - additional changes may incur additional laundry fees. Please discuss with us at time of booking or during your stay. EV charger on site available with prebooking and additional fee.
