Ideal for cyclists, hikers, kite surfers, photographers, nature reserve walks along the IJsselmeer coast, 5 km from Makkum and Workum. The space PAY ATTENTION! You can book for max. 3 adults if the booking is more than 3 nights. Has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining area, sitting room, with separate bathroom and toilet, and 2 bedrooms. Everything is on the ground floor. From Juni 1 until 31 August you can stay here with 2 - 3 adults and or 2 people and with 1-2 small children (up to 12 years) / baby. The bedrooms are spacious enough to place a camp bed. Children up to 2 years old are free, there is a high chair and camping cot available. This holiday home is not suitable for companies with employees. Two separate 2 person spacious bedrooms, both furnished with wardrobe and 2 x 1 person box spring beds. Bathroom with vanity unit and shower and separate toilet. Fully equipped open kitchen with dining area. There is a shared freezer in the cubicle shed. Sitting area with 3 pers. sofa and armchair. Access to various terraces in our beautiful ornamental garden. BBQ is at the cottage sun loungers, cushions, parasol. We have a large pond in the back of our yard. Behind the log cabin are seats, a lookout tower gives a view over the landscape. There are many geese, winter birds and roe deer in the before - after the year and winter time. Other things to note In the second weekend of July, Thursday to Sunday, there is a village festival. On those days there are many games, handball competitions, hexathlon, vintage cars and music. Music will be played until 23:00 and the closing evening is on Sunday until 21:30. 1 bedroom has no heating! We provide free Wifi, HD TV, fiber optic internet with 120 channels, ESPN 1-4 AND FILM 1 - 4. There are no shops in Gaast, but in nearby Makkum or Workum, both 5 km. There is no nightlife in Gaast, the house is not suitable for young people. Gaast is not easily accessible by public transport. Train station Workum 5 km. Local bus 6 times a day from Monday to Friday. A car is therefore highly recommended! All accommodations are on the ground floor, with small thresholds or steps, so reasonably wheelchair-friendly. Our estate is surrounded by ditches and we have two ponds in our beautiful garden. We are rural, so you should not be afraid of spiders and other insects that live here in nature. Smoking is prohibited in the holiday home! Cigarette and cigar smoking is allowed on the terrace, but please keep the door closed. We do not ask for a deposit, but if we find damage afterwards, we will appeal to airbnb within 48 hours, which guarantees a deposit of € 100.00, which will be settled with you. We have free running Brahma chickens and two red farm cats Puk&Buk. Please do not feed the animals! If you stay longer than 7 nights, we offer you to wash your clothes for a small fee. There are no shops in Gaast, but in the vicinity such as Makkum or Workum, both 5 km. If you come later than 17:00, please let us know!
