Catskills Peakes Brook Cabin-Creek, Pond & Privacy

Take a breath at Peakes Brook Cabin, our cozy and private cabin on a pond, with the brook steaming nearby. Our beloved property is perfect for couples needing to escape the city, decompress and deplug. You're minutes to charming Delhi and other Catskill villages, with nature all around, and our canoe ready for you. We are happy to welcome your doggies, but not your cats due to allergies. Please note that cabin has a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. Looking forward to hosting you! The space Peakes Brook Cabin is a cozy one room sanctuary to get away. You can hear the creek from the porch, maybe catch a glimpse of our resident crane and gaze at the stars, while sitting outside around the fire pit. Our guests have loved taking creek baths to refresh. We've started to create walking trails around the property, which are yours to explore, and a canoe at the ready. Our house is up the hill about a 8 min walk, so you have complete privacy. The cabin has a modern yet warm environment, sprinkled with hotel touches. You'll have a kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, french press and drip coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, hotplate, toaster and small griddle. The kitchen does NOT have a stove or sink, but we do have a great fire pit grill for cooking outside. If you do need to plug in for work during your stay, we provide high speed fiber optic Wifi. Our internet is perfect for zoom or any other work needs. Guest access The cabin is 10 minutes from downtown Delhi, due east, and 10 minutes from Hamden, due west. We are a 5 minute drive from the major supermarket, Price Chopper. Driving in Delaware county is simple and lovely and every turn is beautiful. The cabin has its own driveway with room for two cars. Other things to note Pets! We allow dogs, but we cannot allow cats. My partner is allergic and this is an absolute no. No vaping or any kind of smoking inside the cabin. Keep outside noise to indoor voices after 10pm. Enjoy a fire under the stars, while keeping the neighborhood quiet. Thank you!
