We are empty-nesters who have lived in Pocatello for over 40 years and will share our knowledge of the area as you request. We will be on-site to meet your needs. The Mink Creek/Cinnamon Ridge area has a lovely mix of well established homes with new homes dotting the hillsides and valley. You'll notice people out and about on foot walking or running, biking, hiking and on their way to other outdoor activities in the Mink Creek Recreation area. The Charlotte wildfire consumed over 60 homes in June 2012, including the predecessor to this home. While a variety of juniper trees speckle the mountains, we now have many other evergreens and deciduous trees, as well as wildflowers and a large variety of birds to watch! Just a 10 minute drive from the city of Pocatello, where one can summon a taxi or rent a car, and we are located 20 minutes from the Pocatello airport. We are located within 3 miles of I-15; an excellent corridor taking you south to Salt Lake City in 2 hours, north to Yellowstone National Park in 3 hours, or west to Boise and beyond!
