The Retreat sits on the edge of the New Forest, 4.8 miles from Christchurch and 2.9 miles from Highcliffe Beach. Set within the Hinton Admiral Estate, The Retreat is a Georgian building surrounded by extensive gardens. The Retreat offers 15 ensuite bedrooms for guests aged 16 and over. Setters Cottage, a two-bedroom property in the grounds, is suitable for families. Guests can enjoy the tranquil setting, wellness activities, or explore the New Forest. The space The Retreat New Forest is a gorgeous, historic listed building located in the New Forest, with a 10-minute drive to either the local beaches, or within easy reach of amazing Forest walks, and cycling trails. Eat at Colin Nash Restaurant Breakfast: 8am – 11am (everyday) Lunch: Mon-Sat, 12pm – 2:30pm, Sunday 12pm - 4pm Dinner: Mon-Sat, 6pm – 9pm; Please note the restaurant requires pre-booking and is closed Mondays 2 - 6pm and Sunday evenings. Guest access There is ample free parking out the front of the building and you can gain access to Room 12 via the North Entrance at the side of the building, there is clear signage upon arrival to guide you. We are in close proximity to Hinton Admiral Railway Station (5-8 mins approx. by car) however, we do not advise walking along the main road as it can get busy and would be too dangerous, particularly at night. Other things to note We are room only. All other services are at additional cost and can be paid for on site or via the website. This room is classed as an Economy which is reflected in the price.
