Gîte de la Croix Labonne: Quiet, fully enclosed

Located in Monthermé, in the heart of the Meuse Valley, in the French Ardennes and a few kilometers from Belgium, the house is nestled in a very quiet location, on a wooded and fully fenced one hectare plot (20000 m2 or 2 ha). Capacity of 9 to 10 people in the Monthermé cottage, cottage not overlooked. Enjoy the terrace at any time of the day, spend a safe vacation with your pet free. The space With a capacity of 9–10 people, the cottage has 3 double bedrooms (2 beds 140/190 cm and one king-size bed 200/200 cm). A 4th bedroom in an outbuilding with a double bed and a sofa bed (for practical reasons, the outbuilding is made available for rentals for more than 6 people). In the living room, you will find a sofa bed for 2 people, as well as a sofa. The cottage has Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, baby equipment, an oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a kettle and a toaster. (A travel cot for children and babies can be provided), a bathroom, a separate toilet, an equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, electric cooktop, range hood, wok, raclette machine, griddle, table grill) that opens out to a dining/living room. Sheets are provided, but not towels (can be rented on request, €5 per person). In the entryway, you will find a beautiful fireplace that we light for guests when the weather permits. Ideally located for setting out on walks in the forest, by the water or on the water, on foot, by bike, by canoe or even by motorcycle. Lots of fishing spots too. You will also find Lac des Vieilles Forges for swimming or water activities. The cottage is fully fenced. We have provided you with brochures for the department, a map of the town, a map of walking routes, and information about activities in the surrounding area. No charging of electric cars without prior request. Charging your car will be billed to you. A few simple rules when checking out of the accommodation: Empty the dishwasher/clean and put away the dishes Pick up dog droppings Please bring blankets and clean up animal hair. Guest access Check-in at 5pm, with the possibility of checking in earlier if the cottage is ready. Guests will have access to the entire home, except for the linen cupboard, which is reserved for private belongings. Outbuilding available for bookings of more than 6 people Other things to note You can take beautiful walks: La Longue Roche, Le Roc la Tour, Les Quatre Fils Aymon. By bike: Trans-Ardennes greenway, practical and tourist information + detailed maps at the tourist office, almost 85 km long. Mountain Bike Trail The Trans-Semoysienne is 20 km of bike path between Monthermé and Hautes-Rivières on the old P'tit train de la Semoy route. We have an enclosed place to park bikes. You will also find Lac des Vieilles Forges 25 min away.
