Located in Monthermé, in the heart of the Meuse Valley, in the French Ardennes and a few kilometers from Belgium, the house is nestled in a very quiet location, on a wooded and fully fenced one hectare plot (20000 m2 or 2 ha). Capacity of 9 to 10 people in the Monthermé cottage, cottage not overlooked. Enjoy the terrace at any time of the day, spend a safe vacation with your pet free. The space With a capacity of 9-10 people, the cottage has 3 double bedrooms (2 beds 140/190 and one 200/200 king size bed), and a 4th bedroom in an outbuilding with a double bed and a sofa bed (for practical reasons, the outbuilding is available for rentals for more than 6 people). In the living room you will find a click-clac for 2 people, as well as a sofa. The cottage has wifi, dishwasher, baby equipment, oven, microwave, fridge+freezer, kettle, toaster. (possibility to provide an umbrella bed for child and baby), a bathroom, a separate bathroom, an equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, electric hobs, hood, Wok, Raclette, Plancha, Pierrade) open to a dining-living room. Sheets provided but not towels (can be rented on request, €5 per person) You will find in the entrance a beautiful fireplace that we light for guests when the weather permits (wood is available). Ideally located for departures in the forest, by the water or on the water, on foot, by bike, by canoe or by motorbike. Lots of fishing spots too. You can also find the lake old forges for swimming or water activities. The cottage is full fenced. We put you leaflets from the department, city map, walking map, activity nearby. Electric cars may not be recharged without prior request; you will be charged for recharging the car Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, except for the storage room, which is reserved for private equipment. Outbuilding available for bookings beyond 6 people Other things to note You can take beautiful walks: La Longue Roche, Le Roc la Tour, Les Quatre Fils Aymon. By bike: Trans-Ardennes greenway, practical and tourist information + detailed maps at the tourist office, almost 85 km long. Mountain Bike Trail The Trans-Semoysienne is 20 km of bike path between Monthermé and Hautes-Rivières on the old P'tit train de la Semoy route. We have an enclosed place to park bikes. You will also find Lac des Vieilles Forges 25 min away.
