Two charming cottages, two hot-tubs & pool option

Eider and Shelduck cottages are both three storey cottages that back onto each other, hidden away in the very centre of this historic village. Both with private hot tubs and quirky period features and views. Although they are adjacent you need to navigate the cobbled slopes and steps to go between them. Exclusive use of the owners private heated indoor swimming pool, spa bath and sauna is also available for an additional charge, subject to availability. The space Shelduck has three bedrooms - two with a king size bed and one with a double bed, two bathrooms one with a roll top bath and one with a rain shower, kitchen and sitting room. Outside there is a private garden with optional hot tub for your exclusive use. Eider has two bedrooms - one with a super king size bed and one with a double bed, one bathroom with a roll top bath and rain shower, kitchen and sitting room. See the individual listings for Eider and Shelduck cottages for more details Other things to note The cottages are not the venue for noisy, boisterous parties - if you wish to have a party you are welcome to stay at the cottages and meet up in one of the many lively pubs, restaurants, cafes and bars, but not in the cottages themselves. You cannot talk outside in the garden of either cottage after 9.30pm. Use of the hot tubs is optional for an additional charge. At Eider it is £70 for short breaks up to 4 nights and £100 for 5 -7 nights. At Shelduck it is £100 for short breaks up to 4 nights and £150 for 5-7 nights. Please enquire for the price for longer stays. Confirmation that you require the hot tubs must be received in advance. Pets are welcome for an additional charge - please enquire for the price and house rules. A £100 refundable cash deposit (£50 per cottage) is payable on arrival, if the cottages are treated with respect and there is no damage this will be returned directly into your bank account seven days after check-out. Full names of all guests must be provided on booking. If two guests require two bedrooms, there is an additional charge of £15 to cover the additional laundry, ironing and cleaning costs for each additional bedroom used. Swimming pool If your stay is dependent on the availability of the swimming pool, please do not book until you have checked if it is available on the days and times that you want. Only potty trained children are allowed in the pool and jacuzzi.
