The House by the Castle - Mouraria

The Mouraria House is located in a typical neighbourhood right next to "Castelo de São Jorge" (Saint George Castle), at the same time in the heart of historic Lisbon and only a few walking minutes away from Rossio square and central downtown Lisbon. The space This cozy apartment, filled with natural light due to its 5 typical Lisbon windows, distributed throughout the house, allows you to feel what it is like to live in a historic neighbourhood of Lisbon. The Mouraria House has a bedroom with a double bed, decorated to make your stay a relaxing experience. It has a private cute little bathroom with all you need including a shower with 2 head options. It also has a renewed living room and dining table; also a nice open kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and washing machine that includes new kitchen cabinets with a black stone top and electric stove with glass ceramic hob. The Mouraria House includes, towels, sheets, Wi-Fi and a Flatscreen TV with over 80 channels. Mouraria is only a few walking minutes away from Rossio and the Castelo de São Jorge, but it is also quite peaceful and quiet at night. This cosy one-bedroom apartment is located in an old Lisbon building where no cars pass by. You'll hear the people, church bells, perhaps a neighbour playing or singing music, but you'll be far from all the downtown chaos that is 5 minutes away. Guest access Best transportation options from Lisbon airport are taxi/Uber or Metro (subway). Details will be sent near to your arrival. Parking is available near the Apartment (doesn’t require a prior reservation) and has a cost of 20€ a day, subject to updates. Other things to note Since 2015 Portugal has more strictly enforced a long­standing law requiring anyone providing paid holiday accommodation to record the entry, exit, and identification details of all non­Portuguese nationals who use that accommodation. For this reason, it will be necessary to show your I.D. / passport and fill out an accommodation form on arrival.
