Description

Private 1st floor self contained apartment, out of the city centre, close to the Muni Golf Course. Off road parking on a private lane with excellent links for M3 & M27, buses, airport, rail close by, and the Uni, Hospitals & Business Parks, New Forest, Winchester & surrounding area. 1.8 miles to local Co-op 1.2 miles to Sainsbury’s Local We do provide a breakfast starter pack. I only use AirBnb & have a great relationship them & our guests, as the ratings confirm The space The en-suite Loft space was constructed with a purpose built double garage in 2018, hence the sloping ceilings in each living space. It stands next to the Old Stables of the long gone Ridgemount Estate House (built in circa 1860, part of Charles Darwin’s son’s estate!) located down a private lane. The Loft is privately accessed via internal stairs to the rear of the property. There is a light, spacious separate Living/Dining area to relax and socialise on the cosy sofas or use the free WiFi after a long day at work or exploring. A large flat-screen Smart TV (no need to miss your favourite show), or enjoy a DVD. Dining table & chairs, useful also as a desk. There is a well equipped kitchen area; kettle, toaster, combination microwave, oven, hot plate, fridge/freezer, cooking utensils, crockery and silverware. This space is 6 x 5.5 metres with Velux windows filling the room with natural light, and blinds for when you want it dark! The separate sleeping area is 2.6 x 3.5 metres. With sloping ceiling. A double bed, drawers to store clothes somewhere to hang clothes, hair dryer and mirror. The ensuite walk-in shower 2.4 x 1.8m with sloping ceiling has a shaver point and towels. Free dedicated WiFi is also included (no bandwidth sharing), check the latest Speed Tests run by AirBnb. Off-road parking by arrangement. The Loft has always been kept exceptionally clean, as our 'ratings evidence'. Please note local grocery shops are in the form of a Co-op at 1.8miles distance and a Sainsbury’s Local at 1.2miles. Guest access Full access to the large private Loft Space with your own living/dining/work/kitchen and sleeping area. There is also a dedicated outside seating area for guests to relax with table and chairs and beautiful views of the established garden. We have also installed a separate lockable bike storage 'hut' should you wish to bring or use your own cycles when visiting. Other things to note Guest must climb stairs. There is one flight of steps up to the Loft which has a 90o turn. There are some height restricted areas in the sleeping and living areas. We have dogs that live with us but they are not allowed in The Loft or the guest garden. Sainsbury’s, Waitrose & ASDA deliver to this area so you can order your food in advance. There is also a Marks & Spencer Food Hall locally. Subject to the Loft being available we are happy to put your shopping away for you if this is delivered the day of your arrival. Local grocery’s are available at the Co-op 1.8miles and Sainsbury’s Local 1.2miles. Complimentary; teas, coffee, Breakfast selection (cereals, bread, jam) as well as basics for cooking (salt, pepper, oil), aluminium foil, kitchen roll etc.
