Description

Update 1/16/20: Just deep cleaned & upgraded. My place is great for visiting solo adventurers and business travelers alike! We’re right next to the best views of uptown, a park, a 5 min walk from the best restaurants & dining, & a free trolley to the center of uptown. All of the city is a minimum hired ride away, including Uptown, NoDa, Plaza-Midwood, Southend & NC Music Factory. Spectrum Center is 1 mi - walkable & trolleyable. The twin bed is comfy, the shower tall, and the night quiet. The space This is the farthest house on the edge of the Elizabeth Neighborhood, though some call it Midtown, and others call it Uptown. My place is an old house filled with character. Built in 1935, it is made of old-growth forest wood. They haven't made homes like this in nigh a century. It features the best front porch view you'll find on a house in uptown Charlotte area. As it is an old house, it has a few issues, mainly related to the condition of the paint. Please measure your expectations. The walls are old and there are a few cracks and small nail holes around. Guest access Guests are welcome to hot cereal, tea, and coffee. There is a kettle and a coffee maker and filtered water. The kettle features a settable thermostat. Guests are welcome to kitchen and porch use. The kitchen is fully stocked. During your stay I’m often around in winter with outside work slow! I like to focus on choring, and I hit the hay early. When I hear a guest enter I’ll usually pause to greet unless I’m otherwise absorbed. I believe meeting promotes comfort and trust for both of us! Other things to note My roommate is Jared. He works at a local hospital. You may see him on weekday evenings. Please introduce yourself if you cross paths! Guests are welcome to kick their shoes off at the entrance, tho not required. I do!
