Sleep in an authentic haystack in the polder!

Behind the doors of our authentic renovated haystack, you will find a complete and cozy apartment, which is located in a very quiet and rural location. From this apartment, you can explore the typical Dutch landscape by bike, on foot or by car. The mills of Kinderdijk are 15 km away, the fortified town of Nieuwpoort is 6 km away and the silver city of Schoonhoven is 6 km away. Enjoy the tranquility and nature during your stay. We are more than pleased to welcome you! The space In a small neighborhood just outside the village of Groot-Ammers at the foot of the Lekdijk is our authentic haystack. When you enter the haystack, which was renovated in 2005, it is a warm welcome. The haystack is equipped with many comforts and is wonderfully hidden at the bottom of the dike on a country road. The haystack has a loft with a double bed made up for your arrival. In the summer, the air conditioning can be turned on to keep the space wonderfully cool. There is plenty of closet space for your clothes. There is a tv present. The kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooktop and oven. There are plenty of kitchen utensils and tableware available for cooking. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. As an extra, there is a small sauna room. There is cozy underfloor heating throughout the haystack. Next to the haystack, there is plenty of opportunity to sit outside. Enjoy breakfast or have a glass of wine by the setting sun. Welcome! Guest access The entire haystack is at your disposal. Other things to note There is a spiral staircase to the sleeping area that can be experienced as “difficult” for people with mobility problems.
