Description

The old chapel is architect-designed and has a modernist but quirky flair, surrounded by a large, organically maintained wildlife-friendly garden. It sleeps two in two bedrooms and is situated in a small hamlet south of Fakenham. Sorry, we can absolutely do not accommodate pets, or children under 12. The space The chapel has been refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and provides accommodation for two. The space is open plan - so there are no doors except for the bathroom - so the space has an airy and light feel. The chapel was refurbished by an architect and its many features include a double-height main living cum dining room with a wood burner, and a conservatory space leading to a south-facing patio. Original floor tiles on the groundfloor and built-in custom made cupboards and wardrobes give the rooms a unique flair. There are no doors in the bedrooms, and the main bedroom overlooks the living room space. The office space is directly connected to the second bedroom. The bathroom boasts a large power shower, the kitchen a fridge with a freezer cabinet, dishwasher, mircrowave, induction hob and oven. The house is fully equipped to allow you to cook a special meal. Seating is provided in the dining-cum living room, which has a large refectory table, chairs, a large three-seater sofa and freeview TV, an auxiliary speaker, and windows to three sides as well as a woodburner. The garden is accessed via an external gate and from the house through a small conservatory which has two leisure chairs. The garden is unusually generous for a chapel, and is south facing so you can enjoy meals on the patio in the sunshine. A rustic BBQ is provided. The chapel has electric heaters in all rooms, the woodburner provides extra warmth and a nice focal point in the main room,. Access to BT wifi is provided. Please note: Maximum Occupancy is 2. We cannot accommodate children under 12 for safety reasons. We cannot accommodate any pets.
