The cottage with its old country charm and character is fitted with modern day luxuries, such as WIFI, an air-con, dishwasher, swimming pool, indoor fireplace and more. Please note we only have a stovetop (No oven) You won't find a better location in town, situated within walking distance from all the recommended cafés and Marloth Nature Reserve. It is completely private, on its own piece of land, fenced off and overlooking open fields and mountains. The Cottage offers a great indoor space with a fireplace for cold winter nights, and various outdoor seating areas for summer days. Enjoy your morning coffee in our lush garden or hop around the corner and visit our Country Deli for a freshly baked croissant and latte. We have taken great care to create a clean, calm and relaxing environment for you to enjoy. Please note that bedroom one offers a King size bed that can be converted into two single beds upon request. All our beds are fitted with luxury bedding. Sheets are made from Egyptian cotton and our duvet inners are non-allergic goose down. Light and warm, fit for all seasons. For families traveling with small children, we offer the following items on request: Baby bath Feeding chair Baby travel cot Baby monitor Guest access The cottage is private and for exclusive use to yourself. Free standing on it's own piece of land. It is situated right next to the museum so there are hardly any neighbours. Other things to note The house is fenced off, which is great if you have small children and want to ensure they stay inside the garden. The yard is 700m2 so there is plenty of space for kids to play. The pool is covered with a child safety pool cover for peace of mind. It is important to note that we are adjacent to the tourism area, although this is a peaceful area and neighbourhood it is still bordering restaurants and thus there will be normal noises at times. Field and Fork restaurant is situated in the back corner behind the cottage and you might hear their extractor fan between service times 5pm to 9.30pm. Most people don't even hear it but some have mention it does bother them. Please be aware of this before booking. We also allow up to two dogs to stay with you during your visit. The fenced off yard is perfect for them to roam around. Please note the kitchen only has a stovetop. There is unfortunately no oven. The cottage has a power backup system so you won’t be affected by load shedding.
