The Coach House is a former milking shed located in the hamlet of Great Honeyborough on the outskirts of Neyland. The cottage has been refurbished to provide contemporary facilities for guests within a traditional setting. The dog-friendly accommodation comprises three bedrooms with a King bed in the main bedroom, a double bed in the second bedroom, and stacking single beds in bedroom 3 which can be set up as singe, twin or a low level king bed - guests may also request the use of our travel cot The space We have used Airbnb many times ourselves both in the UK and abroad, so we have tried to provide what most people want when they are on holiday - we want you to enjoy our cottage so that you will tell your friends, and come back again. Top of the list for us is super-comfortable beds for a great night's sleep (3 bedrooms gives accommodation for 6 - plus a travel cot; the twin bedded room can be made up as a single, twin or king bed), next is a well-equipped kitchen that enables us to cook if we want to, or grab a takeaway after a heavy day being a tourist. After we've eaten or been out for the day, we often like to chill out with a good film so a state of the art 4K TV with surround-sound speakers and access to plenty of entertainment for the family is a must - that requires comfortable seating with somewhere to put our refreshments, comfy cushions and cosy throws for cool evenings plus a log burner for those really chilly nights make the living room a haven. For those who don’t want to watch TV a selection of games will keep you amused and entertained. We also want to provide this with minimal impact on our surroundings and the planet so everything we provide, as far as possible, is done with that in mind; from the plumbed-in water filter to the provision of safe and environmentally friendly cleaning products, to toilet paper wrapped in paper not plastic. Our welcome packs provide local goodies sourced, where possible, from local farms. The cottage is located on a very quiet street; there is a road at the back which can be heard from the bedrooms when the windows are open, but it is not a busy road. Guest access Guests will be able to check in from 4pm and checkout is at 10am - we need that time to ensure that we clean the property to the right standard. We like to greet our guests but we realise that isn't always possible - for those occasions, we have a keysafe and access codes will be sent in good time. Other things to note We want you to feel special when you stay with us and, to that end, we have created a space to enable you to relax and enjoy yourselves. Holidays and breaks are for recharging the batteries, getting away from it all and generally getting some “down time” - we do our best to make sure that happens for each and every guest. The last thing you want to do when you arrive is dash out for supplies; you will find a selection of goodies to keep you going until the following morning - please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or intolerances so that they can be accommodated. We provide an initial supply of logs and kindling for the wood burner; if you require more, they can be purchased at the local Gulf Garage which is located 5 minutes away next to Sinclair Audi on the A477. PLEASE NOTE: wet wood should not be used in the log burner; it damages the burner and creates polluting particulates. Please only burn kiln-dried timber. Thank you You will find the following items provided for you: hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid, cleaning products and laundry balls (used instead of soap powder - if you’ve not tried them, you are in for a real surprise at how efficient they are; they are changed at each guest changeover); there is also a plumbed-in water filter to help reduce plastic waste - please feel free to refill your water bottle instead of buying more. If there is anything we can do to make your stay better, please let us know. Up to 5 well-behaved dogs are welcome free of charge, more by prior arrangement only Dogs are only permitted on the beds if you bring your own bed linen. We provide sofa throws for dogs who like to sleep on the lounge sofas. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE IN THE PROPERTY AT ANY TIME - unattended dogs in a strange property get distressed which is unfair on the dog(s) as well as the guests in the neighbouring property.
