The Poplars Barn dates back to 1835 and is well positioned in the heart of the Rhubarb Triangle, close to Leeds & Wakefield. Full of character, this home from home is perfect for short breaks & business trips. The space Offering guests 2 floors of private living space with views into the garden and fields. Downstairs A cosy living space with wood burning stove, a small snuggle chair for two. Patio doors onto the garden. Fridge freezer & microwave, air fryer (no oven or hob) Nespresso coffee machine with pods. Smart TV & music player. Or Enjoy a take-away, menus are in the house or use the ‘Just Eat’ App! A cupboard full of board games. Upstairs Open plan with king sized bed, high ceilings and stepped access down to the garden. TV, DVD player plus Bluetooth portable speaker. The bathroom has a roll top bath and separate shower, plus toiletries. Outside You can access the garden from the both floors of the barn. With seated patio areas plus a large terrace onto the fields sun set views. Blankets available for chilly nights. Guest access Self-check in instructions sent to guests ahead of stay. We are also often home to greet guests if required. Parking at the front of our house next to our gates. Other things to note Your stay includes - - Coffee & pods, tea, milk. (The Farm shop opposite serve hot breakfast sandwiches daily) NOTE - Limited kitchen facilities. NO oven or hob. There is a microwave, slow cooker, nespresso coffee machine & pods, fridge-freezer, Air-fryer. Maximum guests two. 2 adults, or 1 adult and 1 child over 12. The accommodation is not child friendly. No pets allowed. Hair dryer & toiletry draw. Smart TV downstairs. TV and DVD player in the bedroom. Smart timer controlled radiators up and downstairs with under-floor heating in the bathroom. The fire is cosy! all guests are provided with plenty of fire wood. Additional bags can be purchased here for £6. Please use the Airbnb Guidebook, photos & online maps to get a feel for the area and space before booking. We live at the house next to the barn therefore you may see us during your stay. Although The Barn is quite private, please bear this in mind if you are looking for complete privacy.
