Here, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of a rural environment overlooking meadows and pastures, take a nice walk in the forest or a 30-minute bike ride to the sea. If you want culture, entertainment and restaurants, it is close by car to Marstrand, Kungälv and Gothenburg. Also recommend a visit to Tofta Manor with its beautiful surroundings. From the cottage, it is about a 20-minute walk to the bus station in Kärna for further transport to Ytterby/Kungälv/Gothenburg. Car is recommended if you are traveling for a long time. The space A small cottage of 38 sqm + loft (built July 2020). Balcony with patio in southwest location. The cottage, which is built in natural materials, is winterized and has heated floors. There is a fully equipped and modern kitchen area, a small dining table and chairs. The bedroom has a double bed (two 80 cm single beds that are attached to each other), two "bed tables"/chairs and a narrow wardrobe. The loft has two low but comfortable beds (both 80 x 200 cm). The loft's ridge height is about 157 cm. The stairs to the loft are a bit difficult to walk and are not suitable for small children or those who have difficulty with balance. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, sink and washing machine. (Bring your own detergent.) A so-called Pillar fan is available for air circulation if required, but no AC. Free parking right next to the cabin. Balcony (wooden deck) with tables, chairs and parasol. Barbecue available. The cottage is located right next to the farm with a free, open location, overlooking meadows and pastures and proximity to the forest. There are lovely walking and cycling paths. Gravel areas and flat ground next to the cabin. Guest access Next to the cottage, there is a large gravel court/paddock where you can, for example, play badminton, croquet or kubb. (Available to borrow.) The barn next door is available to rent for weddings and parties. This is done privately, not through Airbnb. If you want to book the barn (private) then you must also book the cottage. Other things to note Around the cottage there are fields and meadows. This means that sometimes tractors can be driven on these. But usually sowing, fertilizing (only organic) and spring cultivation are completed before May and then the harvest starts around the end of the summer. A lovely, ordinary Swedish countryside, quite simply. :) Note: The stairs to the loft can be difficult to walk on. Not suitable for smaller children or those who have difficulty with balance. You can also take the train (about 20 minutes) to Gothenburg from Ytterby train terminal, which is recommended. 👍 For other trips to other places, it is easiest to drive, because the bus connections are worse and more complicated. In Sundhammar, Vedhall, Marstrand and Kungälv, you can rent a kayak.
