"Poort Beach Boutique Apartments" is your home away from home. It offers different boutique apartments right by the sea and is surrounded by dunes. Comfortable and luxuriously sleeping on the beach. The space Beach House Sea View Apartment Staying in our recently renovated Beach House Sea View Apartment feels like sleeping in a cabin on the beach but with the comfort and luxuriousness of your own apartment. There are two bedrooms and enough space to comfortably sleep six. Enjoy a sunset from your private sun terrace with seaside view and an abundancy of privacy thanks to the airy dune grass. The Beach House Sea View Apartments are right on the beach and have a separate kitchen, spacious living room with seaside view, two bedrooms and a separate toilet. The entire apartment is furnished and fully equipped. The bedroom with a queen size bed offers entrance to the ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The living room with seaside view opens onto the private terrace. The second bedroom has a comfortable bunk bed. Furthermore, we offer one parking spot per apartment and the cost is €10 per night. Parking multiple cars can be requested at arrival and is based on availability. Guest access Check in is between 15:00 and 17:00. Late check-in (after 17:00) is possible. Please let us know upfront and we will inform you in more detail how to access your apartment smoothly. Other things to note Within 15 minutes you will be in the heart of Haarlem, city of formidable restaurants, unique boutiques and great art, like the Frans Hals Museum and the Museum Van de Geest. Or enjoy a day in Amsterdam, only 30 minutes away by car. Lucky us, The Netherlands is a rather small country, which gives plenty of alternatives for day-trips. Within 1 hour ride you can discover the city of the Dutch Parliament, The Hague, as well as the “little Amsterdam” known as Utrecht and the home to the biggest European port, Rotterdam. Looking to visit then famous Dutch windmills? Discover Zaanse Schans, a little gem nearby Amsterdam where historic windmills and distinctive wooden houses were relocated to recreate the look of a 18th century village: definitely a must visit. We are surrounded by the best beach cafe’s of the Netherlands. Enjoy Asian, Italian, BBQ and vegan, just around the corner - or even downstairs! In the same building as Poort Beach, Renato’s serves Italian cuisine every day from 12:00 until 22:00. Enjoy a delicious homemade pasta, a traditional Italian pizza or simply coffee and cake on their huge terrace with sea view. Just willing to relax in your own apartment? No worries, you can get take away, too. You can also enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner at sea throughout all the seasons next door at San Blas and The Republic: seven days a week (including the winter!). Feel like a high-end culinary evening? Enjoy Michelin-quality at the Bokkedoorns in Overveen. It’s up to you, because of course staying in and enjoy cooking in your own luxurious kitchen is a great option as well! Enjoying a family holiday? Bloemendaal aan Zee offers countless opportunities to have fun with your little ones. Children of 6 years and up can enjoy surfing activities at our downstairs neighbours Surfana: Single classes and week-long programs. Alternatively, a 20 minutes ride will take you to Linnaeushof, Europe’s biggest playground. With over 350 play sets and attractions, your kiddos will only have to decide whether to climb up a pirate’s nest, sail in a pedal boat or hit the ball at the midget gold track. You can also enjoy a day trip to Scheveningen visiting its famous aquarium, the Sea Life, or at Legoland, immersing yourself in the most colourful LEGO indoor playground. Rather looking for a vacation park? During high season, children are welcome by the animation team across the street at vacation park Qurius. Traveling with your furry friends? Dogs are always welcome in our apartments and on the beach. Our pet fee is €15 per dog per night. They are free to be off leash the entire year at Parnassian aan Zee (also known as “the dog beach”, which is just a 10 minute walk away). Additionally, from September 15th until May 15th your dog is also free to go for an off leash run on our beach of Bloemendaal. Besides, all beach pavilions allow on-leash dogs.
