Welcome to this unpretentious yet comfortable and well equipped apartment - a perfect place for your family or small group of friends to return to after a great day out in the most sought-after Croatian resort or an outing beyond it ! :-) Take a 5 minutes walk along the sea and you will reach Volosko - a charming fishermen's village with the best sea-food restos in the area; turn the other way and in a couple of minutes you will enjoy the central Opatija with its plentiful cafes, bars, galleries, music and other events. Or you can just climb down the stairs via a bamboo grove and take the pleasure of the warm Adriatic sea with a scoop of ice-cream ! :-) For the lovers of long walks nothing will beat the Lungo Mare - a romantic sea-front promenade stretching all the way to Lovran, which you will reach after a couple of hours of pleasant walk along the sea (you can come back by boat if you choose so :-)). A hike to the Ucka mountain is a good alternative if you seek a more physically demanding activity; there is also a sports club just across the house ! There is a bus stop 100m from the house, which will take you to Rijeka or Ika-Icici-Lovran-Moscenicka Draga. There are also various excursions organized from Opatija, including to the islands of Krk and Cres, as well as Venice. You can also take water taxi or rent a boat.
