Sedona Secret Hideaway

We are located in a peaceful and beautifully secluded area off-the-grid Sedona, away from traffic yet close to the best hiking trails, parks, markets, movie theater and restaurants. An area where you can get away from it all, relax in natural surroundings and stargaze at night. Lovely in-law suite attached to the house with its own entrance and lots of privacy. Property backs into National Forest and hiking trails. Located inside a quiet private subdivision just off scenic Red Rock Loop Road. The space Welcome into one of the most peaceful locations in the area, just outside of West Sedona proper. Guest entry opens into a private quarter, with a cozy bedroom suite, hallway and full bathroom. Ample parking next to the suite. Enter into your private suite through sliding doors, into a cozy natural-toned bedroom with a plush king-sized bed. Medium firmness mattress with soft Egyptian cotton sheets of high thread count. Bedside table and shelf, chest of drawers, with a smart TV. Inside closet, small refrigerator and microwave oven, luggage rack, iron and ironing board, yoga mat, hiking pole, cooler and creek towels. Full bathroom has bathtub and shower, Turkish cotton white towels and all bathroom essentials. In the hallway, a coffee/bar with three drawers. Stores basic essentials for kitchen, including an electric teakettle, Nespresso and AeroPress coffee makers, glassware, silverware and dishes. Pot with cover and a frying pan for cooking on the BBQ stove. Cutting board, and barbecuing utincels. Some hiking goodies, teas and basic condiments provided. Central heating/AC and swamp cooler as back-up. Space heater and fan also provided in your bedroom suite. Smart TV, but no cable TV. Free Netflix. Wifi is available to use with your computer for streaming videos, but downloading is slow and discouraged. Outside sliding doors of bedroom suite, is a table with chairs and a loveseat. Guests have their own BBQ grill with stove on the lawn where they can do some grilling, light cooking, and enjoy our peaceful surrounding. Our secluded 0.81 acre property backs up onto Coconino National Forest land, and we rarely see our neighbors, whose living spaces are also on ample acreage. For you nature seekers, this is a perfect location surrounded by the quiet serenity of hills. Wild animal sightings from birds and bunnies to quail and deer, etc., this is a prime choice for nature lovers. Our dark sky neighborhood allows for excellent star gazing to the naked eye. Guest access Guests can access parking, bedroom suite, hallway and bathroom, and they have their own private section of grassy lawn in the side yard next to their suite. Hosts live in main house independently, which is connected, but separated by a locked wooden door. Hosts ask to have privacy on their patio and lawn, which faces a different side of house. Access to the national forest land gate can be reached from the right side of the backyard, go past grassy area, which is clear when you get here. Sorry, fire pit use not permitted. Please park on circular driveway at the far left side in front of the house. Other things to note This is a non-toxic home. We only use natural detergents to clean and wash our linens. Allergy sensitive home. No pets allowed. Please refrain from using strong fragrances and oils for the same reason. Not safe or suitable for children (0-10 years). No shoes allowed inside the house. Non-smoking guests only, no vaping or e-cigarettes are allowed in the house. Quiet hours from 11pm-8am. Host lends guests hiking books and a GRAND ANNUAL parking pass, which will save you on parking fees for all Sedona trails and most parks, including Red Rock Crossing (Cathedral Rock), and West Fork Trail. Only the Grand Annual Pass include these. (If not returned to hosts upon departure, the costs of $250 will be charged to guests.) Cell service can be limited to some carriers; Verizon works best. Internet is available for use for streaming, but downloading may be slow, only legal downloads permitted. When you use the grill, we ask that you please clean it afterwards as best as you can.
