Our guesthouse unfortunately does not have an elevator. If you have heavy luggage, our staff can assist you. A clean and friendly guesthouse in the heart of Daegu, easily accessible by public transit! We are located near Subway Exit No. 1 (Jungangno Station, Line 1) and Banwoldang Station (Line 2), as well as the Yangnyeong-si and Kwak Hospital bus stops. Just a 5-minute walk to downtown, where you'll find plenty of restaurants and shopping areas. :D The space We opened in the summer of 2013. We're a social enterprise that supports the resettlement of North Koran defectors through its profits. (Now you too are a donor!) The people at Empathy hope that visitors will meet the stories of locals, travelers from Korea and abroad, and of course, North Korean defectors to experience diversity in its true sense. Come to Empathy to meet the stories of others and experience the 'jeong(정)' of Daegu, which will warm your hearts and soul. Guest access - Common area: Lounge on 1st floor (9am-6pm) living room on 2nd floor (Washing machine, Microwave, Cable TV, board games) (9am-10pm) - In each room: Wooden bunk bed Offer new towels and bed sheets (extra towel rental is available) Free, secure WiFi on each floor Air conditioning and heated floors Separate bathrooms in each room with shampoo, conditioner, body wash - Rooftop terrace on 5th floor During your stay If you need a map or some information about Deagu, we will be pleased to give you help . Other things to note Reception is open from 9am to 10pm. So please check in before 10pm, or let us know if you check in later than that. Once you check in, you don't have curfew.
