Hidden Ubud House is at the rear of our family compound. It has a beautiful and peaceful jungle outlook with a lovely lawned area. It's a good way to escape from bustling Ubud center. My wife runs the Warung Lokal at the front of the compound so meals can be ordered at any time. I am a driver and I am happy to show you the highlights of beautiful Ubud and other parts of Bali. The space Hidden Ubud House is a sunlit, double storey house, with panoramic views and plenty of room to move around. It is an Upstairs room which has an extremely comfortable King-size bed, overhead fan and a balcony where meals can be enjoyed looking out over the jungle. Also this place very nice to do YOGA. The house can be rented as two seperate rooms or as a whole, (please have a look to another listing for the whole house) allowing 4 people (friends or family) to enjoy the property. Guest access Access to the property is through the family compound. The double storey house (accommodation) is at the rear of the property in a tree-lined garden area. During your stay Made (pronounced Mah-Day) is a local driver who can show you the destination highlights of Ubud and surrounding regions of Bali. Made's beautiful wife will make the breakfast every morning which you can enjoy it in the warung front of the property. Other things to note The property is a 25 minutes walk to Ubud center and 4 minutes by car, the location is in the quiet countryside of Ubud with an abundance of rice paddies. There are many local Warungs (cafes/restaurants) in walking distance, including Made's very own Lokal Warung which fronts the property. There is a local laundry one minute away, too. The newly built Pyramids of Chi are walking distance from the property. This is also the filming location of Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts, showing that Ubud is a great place to find your spiritual side.
