Stylish room in a warmhearted home + city garden

This listing is not just a place to sleep but a home away from home, with an experienced host :) You share the house with me and my 8 year old son. Because of that, I only accept bookings of people who have a filled out profile or who have reviews. I need that information to be comfortable with the booking. What previous guests have said: - Very comfortable bed - House decorated with great taste - Welcoming host - A bit far from center (but public transport at 2 min) - Steep staircases The space You are renting the bedroom on the first floor of a 3-floor house. The room is designed for short to mid-term stays, with a double bed and a wardrobe. The house has very steep staircases, which makes it not the best place for people with reduced mobility. With regard to children: many children have gone up and down the stairs but you do need to be careful Guest access Apart from your own room, you have access to the shared spaces: bathroom (with shower, bath tub, and washing machine), living room, kitchen and garden. During your stay You are staying with me in my own house, which means you will be part of my daily life. I am a very sociable person, so chances are high that I will have friends, family or a babysit over while you are here. The degree of interaction with me will depend on my schedule and mood :-). I am very sociable and approachable overall, but sometimes I might be very busy, tired or not at home :-). When I have friends over, I prefer to focus on them. I will communicate when that is the case. Even if i'm not around, I can be available for advice. Urgently need advice on a good restaurant or help when you got lost in the city? Just text me a message and I'll reply asap! Other things to note My son Charlie can be extremely shy around guests. Please do not take it personal if he doesn't say hello, we are working on it ;-).
