The bedroom, bathroom, and closet have all been freshly painted. The bedroom features a new Tuft & Needle mattress, Snowe pillows, and luxury linens (to give you sweet dreams); a dinette table & chairs (to work or eat at); and reading nook (to relax into). The master bathroom is the perfect space to get ready. Double sinks, a full-length mirror, fluffy towels, hair dryer, shampoo & conditioner, and soap--plus a NEWLY renovated shower--fuel all your bathing needs. Your closet space also has a small kitchenette including mini-fridge (filled with a few treats to start your stay right), microwave, and Keurig (which also dispenses hot water for complimentary tea). All our dinnerware is completely compostable. This is a full studio where you'll have PRIVATE access to the bedroom/living space, kitchenette/closet, and bathroom. This room is attached to the main house but has its own private entry and is separated inside by a sound-insulated door with locks on both sides. Alex and I work 9am - 5pm jobs nearby... but are available before and after then on weekdays and available often on weekends. Feel free to text, call, or wander to the front of the house to knock and say "hey!"--we're always down to share our favorite recommendations or to help with whatever you might need. Just a 5-minute drive from Mueller, East 6th St, and downtown, the Cherrywood neighborhood has much to offer, from top eats to hip stores. In-demand Cherrywood Coffeehouse's amazing breakfast tacos and burgers are just around the corner. Walking distance to the Moody Center, LBJ Library, and The University of Texas. We honestly recommend using Lyft and Uber while you're here (it's easiest and allows you to avoid parking fees downtown), but we have a driveway you're more than welcome to park (1) car in while you're here (as long as you leave space for our car, too)! COVID-19: CLEANING, SAFETY, AND GUEST AGREEMENT CLEANING & SAFETY PRACTICES: We are taking extra care to clean and disinfect properly during this time. Here are our updated cleaning & safety standards: - We are allowing 24 hours to pass between guest stays. This is because the CDC states that the virus can survive for up to 24 hours on surfaces. Allowing this time between stays ensures our personal safety and the safety of upcoming guests should there be any potential strains in the room after a guest leaves. - Upon entering the room to clean, we ventilate the room by opening all the windows and doors - We immediately wipe down all hard surfaces with a clean towel and Lysol disinfectant spray. We use a different towel for each surface and wash our towels on the highest heat setting in the washing machine. - We wash ALL linens (including sheets, pillow covers, towels, blankets, & the duvet cover) on a hot water cycle. While we normally try to avoid bleach because it hardens linens, we are currently adding bleach to these linen cycles. - We spray disinfect on curtains and throw pillows. - We vacuum and empty the vacuum contents after each clean - We mop the floors - We disinfect all trash cans and line them with new liners - We put all dishware in the dishwasher, regardless of if it's been handled or not - We disinfect anything that may have been handled by the previous guest (kitchenware, refrigerator interior and exterior, handles, doorknobs, light switches, laundry baskets, tissue covers, soap bottles, clothes hangers, etc) - We wash ourselves!! - If you have questions or concerns regarding your stay, please message us!
