The Coral Door was built in 1907 and then restored in 2018 by Galveston's own HGTV/DIY Network stars of "Restoring Galveston.” Located just a 5 minute walk to the beach or a 5 minute drive to Downtown Galveston! 3 Bedrooms. 2.5 Baths. Enjoy morning coffee on the wrap around porch. Cook for your guests in the large open concept kitchen or take a relaxing bath after a day at the beach in the large claw foot tub. The space This place is the perfect Galveston retreat for families and friends! The house retains much of it's historic character, but has been updated to include modern amenities and a luxurious feel. You'll love the abundance of natural light that shows off the original hardwood floors, exposed shiplap, historic trim pieces, and pocket doors that you'd expect to find in a house over 110 years old. Modern amenities include a washer/dryer, large dining area, half bath downstairs, a smart TV in the living area with Netflix, and a fully equipped kitchen. All 3 bedrooms are located upstairs along with an attached master bathroom and a second hallway bathroom. The Coral door is a great option for families with younger children too. We have beach toys, a PackNPlay, black out curtains for nap time, baby gate, and some toys available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house.
