Just 14 miles from the Sonoma Town Square, 10 mins to downtown Petaluma, Point Reyes National Park 40 mins and 1- 1:15 hours from major airports. Located just off a country road, adjacent to hundreds of acres of beautiful, open ranch land. Sunrise and sunset views. Recreation outside your doorstep; hiking & biking and tons more. The road riding from here is extraordinary - some of the best in the country. Hiking up this country road is wonderful...so many active choices. A room with a view! A comfy queen bed looking out French doors into an oak forest. Furnished with a love seat, outdoor seating area, desk & chair, claw foot tub & WiFi - our place is quality and comfort. This is a dedicated guest house, set up like some of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. Next door is my other rental, a farmhouse, also fully renovated. They are situated so both & and a vintage Airstream nearby (that is not rented) enjoy privacy. I have just about 50 acres, it's a working ranch. TOT Certificate #1425N, quiet hours 9 PM - 7 AM, no amplified sound allowed, maximum guests two people. Pets or kids must be approved in advance (see dog rules), maximum cars allowed off-street = 1. Guest access The Cottage, patio & driveway. Note that an additional guest house is available for 31 days + rental (Sonoma County Farm House on 50 acres), a fully renovated 1-bedroom farmhouse, is just next door. Please do not walk around or near the Farmhouse & trailer - to respect privacy and social distancing. I live just across the country road in my main house, with most of the ranch infrastructure, barns &chicken coups. The 50 acres roll out below the buildings with a massive view of rolling empty ranch land. NO kitchen - NO Cooking inside or outside, NO cookstoves for any purpose Other things to note Out in the country and so close to town - great meals and downtown just 10 mins, so close and yet here tucked away it is so quiet and beautiful - seeing the landscape change as the hay is cut on the next hill, the grapes going down the road, friendly neighbors always waving - many nights I hear the owls hooting. I pick and eat from the orchard, my garden, and our free-ranging chicken's eggs. Work out - just walk up the dead-end and from the top see San Fran and the bay. NOTE: No kitchen and no cooking or preparing foods, no hot plates or camp stoves - NO fires or smoking. NONE. Take out ok, with microwave and plates and utensils provided. Power - should the power company shut off power, all guests must follow our protocol for shutting down and limiting power. Our backup power is for water pumps, freezers, and emergencies.
