Guests will be sleeping in a Queen-size Ikea bed with a memory foam mattress pad. I have a sweet cat named Alice. Guests are welcome to use the TV to hang out and watch Netflix. The downstairs has a nice bistro table and chairs next to the fireplace. Relax in a comfy chair and get some work done. You are welcome to use the fridge and kitchen that has a gas stove/oven and a microwave. I have another room listed in my home so you may get to meet someone from another city as well! I bought the house four years ago and the previous owners did leave stains on the carpet. I have cleaned the carpet thoroughly to try and remove the stains and vacuum regularly. Thanks to Airbnb guests I have updated the downstairs floor and plan to continue to put money aside to update the carpet upstairs! My home is 3 miles from downtown, 1.5 miles from IUPUI, 2.5 miles from the Indy Motor Speedway track and a mile away from Eskanazi Hospital. The patio is great for people watching or meeting my friendly neighbors. The backyard is great for bonfires or outdoor movies in the spring and summer. Guests have access to the kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, guest bedroom and Living room. Pretty much the whole house! I will be present and can interact with guests as much or as little as the guest prefers. I will not be hurt if you need to get some rest or work done. I love my neighbors. They are extremely friendly and will help you out no matter what. We all look out for each other and take pride in our block. I live in a diverse neighborhood that is primarily African American families and home owners. I am a block away from a bus stop, two blocks from the local library and the nearest grocery store is less than a mile away. The neighborhood is residential so there are not that many restaurants within walking distance. Luckily, there are plenty of food options downtown which is a five minute drive away! Public transportation riders will find the IndyGo Bus route 10 stop one block away that will get you downtown. Less than a mile away are the Blue Indy ride share electric cars.
