A 5-minute walk from San Juan Beach, with two community pools. 8 km from downtown Alicante. 25 km from Benidorm and the theme parks of Terra Mítica, Terra Natura and Mundomar. Close to the mountain (highest peak 1558m Sierra Aitana) for daily excursions and to enjoy the spectacular views of the Costa Blanca. The space Fully renewed studio located in a residence with 2 swimming pools open all the year and green areas. The kitchen, American style, is fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and bar. The living room is equipped with two armchairs, small table and library, TV with USB port, DVD and books. In the same area you will find a round table, a double floating bed (140x200cm), 70 cm from the floor with two steps and a futon that transforms in a bed for two (140x200cm). The toilet has a shower and a washing machine. The beach is 400metres from the apartment and we really recommend you to go walking. The parking in the beach is difficult. Otherwise there is always parking near the apartment, it is free in the streets. Air conditioner: We have a portable air conditioner. It is enough for a small apartment but some guests doesn't like it. A big supermarket is 200m from the apartment. Bus stop is 200m to Alicante downtown. TRAM stop is 500m to Benidorm. There are also in the area others supermarkets, restaurants, tapas bars, bakery, fisherman and the beach with its famous "chiringuitos" (bars and restaurants on the sand). The community has two swimming pool, one in front of the building, and the other one in the chalets area, in the other side of the street. Other things to note No need to have a car: the beach is a five-minute walk from the house, public transport (bus and tram) to Alicante center is also a five-minute walk from the house, and if you travel from the airport you can take a taxi (€20/30) or public transport. The beach of San Juan - Muchavista is very wide (7km non-stop) and allows for long walks. The area is equipped with games for children and for adults there are beach volleyball courts, water activities, etc. A 20-minute walk away is Cabo de la Huertas, a protected area where you can hike among rocks and numerous coves. It is possible to practice nudism and go diving. From the port of Alicante you can go by ferry to the island of Tabarca (Santa Pola), also a protected area where you can walk or dive. 25 km away is Benidorm's water teleski, an area that's also very popular because of its nightlife.
