Stay in a real rorbue in the heart of Lofoten. The sea and mountains are just outside the door, with a starting point for a number of amazing nature experiences. Timber and wooden floors are original, and the cabin is otherwise upgraded to a simple standard. Guest access You have the entire cabin to yourself. In the area you will also find restaurants, an outdoor sauna and boats for rent – perfect for experiencing nature in the real Lofoten way. Other things to note This is one of the oldest rowing boats in Lofoten. It dates back to the 1800s and has a simple standard after renovation. As a guest, you should want to get the authentic experience, almost as it was when the sailors came home from fishing and stayed sober until the next day. Allergy: Since the timber is 200 years old and there is natural insulation with moss in between, dust may occur. I am allergic myself and thrive well in the cabin, but we have had guests before who have had to move on. There have been mice in this cabin before. We have taken measures that have virtually overcome the problem, but since the cabin is so old, we cannot guarantee that they will not reappear. We have other waterfront houses where there have never been mice: no. 12, 15 and 25. These are "free" on the quay, i.e. not in contact with soil and grass.) Baby cot is available on request.
