The place is located about 1 km from the ferry dock on Ågskardet, close to the sea. View from the house, to fjords and mountains in the area. Good opportunity for mountain trips, both easy and more demanding. Best suited for 2, or a small family. The house is from the 1800s, but renovated and new bathroom with shower in 2017. Formerly a granary, but housing since 1946, and has retained some of the original character. Equipped for simple cooking, with a stove. Refrigerator and freezer. Proximity to Svartisen, Norway's second largest glacier. Grocery and fuel about 17 km. Suitable for couples, or small families. Guest access Parking by the barn. Approx. 1 km to ferry. Other things to note The ferry Åg-Forøy runs about 20 times a day, from 06:05 - 22:50 on weekdays, and from 08:40 on Saturdays and Sundays. 28 km to the ferry in Jektvik, FV17 south.
