Hällby Gård scenic accommodation by Hjälmare canal

A charming simple cottage of 30 sqm, 7 km outside the antique town of Arboga for 5 people. The beautiful garden with flower beds/flowers/vegetable gardens & the pond next to the cottage makes the location wonderful. In the pond there are koi fish and in the yard there are chickens. Shared Pool with 30 degrees included at least 2 hours/day. Parking is available in the yard. Kitchen for cooking and shower. The location is central to several major cities and within walking distance to swimming areas, fishing, 2 cafes with lunch/decoration shop and walking paths/cycling The space The cottage is small with charming and rustic decor with unique surroundings. The cottage has 2 single beds in the bedroom, in the living room there is a sofa bed and a kitchen with a dining table, a ladder leads up to a loft with space for one sleeper. In the kitchen, you will find most things for cooking, stove, microwave, spices, oil, tea and coffee with kettle, grill (with charcoal and lighter fluid for at least once) and kitchen accessories such as pots and porcelain, etc. In the dressers in the cottage, there are extra bed linens, towels and various things such as matches, candles, etc. There are several groups of outdoor furniture next to the cottage to choose from and a hammock. Since we love the garden, there is a lot to see for those who like flowers, garden design and vegetable growing. On the farm there are also chickens and in the pond right next to your cottage there are Koi fish. On the beach at your cottage there is badminton with rack and ball for those who want to play. Heated pool 30 degrees warm, included 2 hours/day (times booked on site). The cottage is about 500 meters from Hjälmare dock, here are a couple of locks with a café, here you can enjoy simple lunches, waffles, coffee and locally produced ice cream and alcoholic drinks/food with amazing views. Here, most of the boats are located both in the canal and the dock where they also repair the boats. They and the locks are usually popular with visitors. If you walk along the canal about 700 meters up, you will come to the next café with an interior design shop, this one is located in the old mill that has an old history. Under the house from the adjacent mill lake, the older Hjälmare canal opens up. There are plenty of fishing spots here for those who like fishing. If you want to swim, the beach is 200 meters behind the mill. Also excellent for taking a dip from one of the bridges in the canal, we have many nice trails along the canals, in the forest and up to Arboga's highest point for those who want to exercise. Although this is 7 km from town, there is a lot to see and do here. If you want to go on an excursion, we are very centrally located with close to a lot. Feel free to check around the garden but respect that we live here. My family may use the beach area and if it's okay to play a game of badminton. We feed the fish at the pond every night, from the bridge. The pool is a private area except for booked times. We will take care of the garden, i.e. mow the grass/clear flower beds. Otherwise, we keep our distance. Other things to note Cleaning at check-out is included, but you leave it tidied up, washed and put all towels, as well as bed linens in the laundry basket in the toilet, see the house rules. Towels, linens, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel are all included. In the kitchen, there is most of what you may need (salt/pepper/oil/sugar/tea, 2 ice packs are in the freezer and utensils), coffee is available at check-in. Barbecue is available on the patio with at least one set of charcoal.
