The space Hostlers Cottage is set within the curtilage of the listed farmhouse and has been designed in a sympathetic manner, retaining original oak beams and the introduction of new hand-crafted solid oak joinery features, some from wood sourced on site. As a purpose built conversion of original farm buildings, Hostlers has everything one would wish to find in a holiday home-from-home. As well as a well-appointed kitchen area, there is a separate utility area with washing machine and dish washer. The bathroom has the pampering features of a drench shower and a whirlpool bath with oodles of piping hot water. There are TVs with DVD players in both lounge and bedroom, and a small enclosed garden with dog-proof fencing and patio, table and chairs. Additionally, there is a covered BBQ area adjoining the cottage, ample parking and, uniquely, a decking area set in the middle of one of the ponds. Here one can soak up the rays or watch the sunset with a gin and tonic to hand. The high-ceiling and open-plan design gives the living area a spacious airy feel whilst, at the same time, there is a cosy comforting feel to this little gem of a country hideaway; ideal for romantic evenings for two away from the hubbub of modern life.
